This is a required meeting to learn more about the mentorship program’s structure, the time commitment, and receive clarification on any hesitations or questions you may have. A parent and the nominee must be present on the call. It will last about 15 minutes. If you are unable to attend we can arrange a separate time to talk about the program! Following the meeting you will have the opportunity to sign up for the program and choose a payment plan.

Networking
Gain insight from esteemed local leaders across diverse subjects, designed to equip you for success both in college and beyond. Our networking sessions encompass a broad spectrum of topics including stress and anxiety management, resume crafting, women empowerment panels, and much more. The average time commitment for a Lincoln G.O.L.D. Girl is 4-6 hours (approximately 2-3 meetings) per month. These meetings typically take place on Tuesdays at 4:00pm, but we are accommodating to our speaker’s schedules.
Volunteering
Participate in community outreach initiatives alongside fellow G.O.L.D. girls, where you'll have the chance to volunteer at places including the food bank, Boys and Girls Club, and other notable organizations.
Philanthropy
Lincoln G.O.L.D. has a $1,000 membership fee. The membership fee allows us to host educational classes, some of our community service events, and our annual gala. The membership fees can be paid in full or a payment plan can be made. We strongly believe that investing in your growth and development helps with your commitment to the program. The membership fee also includes the cost of three gala tickets (one for the G.O.L.D. Girl and two of her guests, typically parents). Any leftover monies are transferred directly to the scholarship fund which promotes our peer-to-peer giving.
